We started this morning at a new coffee come brunch spot we heard about in Waterloo, Sydney called 'Baby coffee company'. When someone tells you there's a new kid on the block which has pink interiors and good coffee, you go.

Greeted by a big pink neon sign with the slogan 'this the real one baby' and staff all in black tees with pink 'baby' printed on them, you know you've entered somewhere fun and light-hearted. Having said that, don't be mistaken by that as immature. It's not fun and light-hearted with a side of 18 year-olds drinking milk shakes. This is chic. Velvet powder pink chairs and marble top tables. Stylish gay men having brunch dates and a woman who I may have spotted wearing the latest Acne studios jacket. As i said, this is chic. And with Drake blasting from the speaks, its also pretty awesome.

We sat by the window, already slightly nervous about the thought of our 3 year old and a babycino / velvet upholstery combo, the service was fast and friendly.
Now to the menu. Breakfast, or Brunch as they name it, is more geared up for the sweeter tooth but that's all good with me! Airing my concern that I actually really wanted a fresh fruit plate, they were quick to advise that the Espresso Panna Cotta I was eyeing up could come with extra. Perfect!
Creamy and coffee flavoured, but not so much it was dominating, with a smearing of light strawberry mouse, and covered with nuts, fruits and honeycomb. Different, and Delicious. Although slightly confusing as to whether I was eating breakfast or desert.
Tom had what they call the 'Baby Benny'. Which in a nut shell is eggs Benedict but rather the muffin, a warm croissant. No complaints that end!
All in all, a great way to start your weekend. For sure, Nobodies putting this baby in the corner!
